Get to know me!
Hi, I'm Desiree Bustos, your local Arizona photographer. My origin is Santa Fe, New Mexico but I have lived in Arizona since 2005. I am a hardworking Capricorn as well as a dog mom to two fur-babies: English Bulldog Rambo and Nala my German Shepard. Based upon that, I am sure you can tell I enjoy being surrounded by high energy. I’m an outdoors person so if there is hiking, camping or fishing count me in! Being a hopeless romantic, capturing true love through the lens melts my heart.
At the age of 14 I began my photography journey. One simple photography class sparked my passion and I have been in love with it since. I started by taking photos for the school yearbook and that turned into portraits for local senior students. My junior year of high school was when I began doing photography competitively and slowly established my own photography business. Within that year, I shot my first wedding and started taking family photos. Did I mention I am a three time 1st place holder at the Arizona State Fair 2018, 2019, 2021 & 2 times in 2022. I was also published in Retro Lovely Magazine 2022 & 2023 Halloween Edition. In addition to that, I have had multiple photos featured in The Tubac Center of the Arts. My bloodline includes many creative individuals such as musicians, painters, woodworkers and weavers.I knew doing something creative was my destiny. I would LOVE to capture a forever memory for you!
